Even popstars knit - member of McFly loves knitting!

Tom Fletcher and his sister Carrie Fletcher are crazy for knitting!
On last Sunday's All Star Family Fortunes on ITV, Tom's wife, Giovanna said that even though Tom lives a rock and roll life style, he loves to knit. His grandmother showed a Santa hat he knitted for himself and also commented that he has knitted scarves for the whole family.
Carrie has ventured into the world of YouTube and is friends with another British sensation, Nerimon (Alex Day). In one of her videos, Alex shows the viewers a pair of mittens that Carrie knitted for him. man previous occasions she has told her viewers about the things she enjoy doing and knitting was one of them.
It's nice to see a younger generation getting involved with an activity that hasn't been considered popular by youngsters and maybe this will be a great opportunity to market knitting to younger people, as some of the people they look up to are doing the same.
